I would begin by reaching out to each feeder school on the middle school level. Being present consistently at each middle school band program would increase the likelihood of being apart of our band program as an incoming freshman. Next, I would focus on the program's exposure by participating in major events and competitions. Lastly, I would focus on increasing the musicianship responsibilities of students so that students will be able to perform more difficult music and become more well-round musicians. Less

I have always been passionate about teaching and music. My training began when I was 5 years old. I have always wanted to share my musical talents and skills with others. Music is something that all students can become successful at doing if given support and encouragement. Being a part of a band enables students to create skills that can be used for ever. Less
