Inform your supervisor. Determine extent of body fluid contamination of work area. Determine proper chemical cleaning supplies necessary to correct contamination hazard. Use PPE (personal protection equipment) as appropriate to situation before you being clean-up of contaminated work space/bench.
I said that I am decent at conflict resolution, and that I like to take action from many different angles, rather than force a solution. If something doesn't work, then I'm going to move on and try a different method.
Hopefully there are strong policies and processes to fall back on. When I worked property management I often had to try and collect rent from non-payers. I issued verbal and written reminders and warnings per policy and when they still did not pay they were evicted. This seems harsh but they knew the agreement up front and we did not stray from it. We offered opportunities to come in and talk about the situation and to find a feasible solution. Some people took advantage of the opportunity and we worked payment plans with them. Others were simply evicted. If you hold firm to the policies and processes customers will know you are serious and fair.
Mean-Square error is an error metric for measuring image or video quality it is popular video and image quality metric because the analysis and mathematics is easier with this L2-Norm metric. Most video and image quality experts will agree that MSE is not a very good measure of perceptual video and image quality.
The mathematical reasoning behind the MSE is as follows: For any real applications, noise in the readings or the labels is inevitable. We generally assume this noise follows Gaussian distribution and this holds perfectly well for most of the real applications. Considering 'e' follows gaussian distribution in y=f(x) + e and calculating the MLE, we get MSE which is also L2 distance. Note: Assuming some other noise distribution may lead to other MLE estimate which will not be MSE.
See if you can implement the process improvements small scale in some other area. This may allow you to gather proof of savings (time, cost, labor, material, etc.) that will help strengthen the case to implement the process improvement large scale.
