"When hiring sales associates, employers are looking for charismatic candidates who can provide helpful advice to customers and close sales. Be prepared to answer a few scenario questions that will assess your ability to handle difficult customers, sell a product, or excel on a team. Previous sales experience is an advantage, but not necessary."
Do you see yourself more as a Sales Associate or more of a Sales Support Associate.
I asked them to explain the different positions and made sure my answer incorporated an interest in both. I'd enjoy being a Sales Associate, however I see myself being more of a Sales Support Associate because I absolutely love the variety of tasks they do around the store.
What did you wear to the interview? I know it's a retail store but it's more high end than GAP or Old Navy so I figured business casual is the way to go?
