I listened to the clien and let them explain thier concern. If you let a client contiue uninterupted they will some times tell you how to remedy the situation. If not I would ask probing questions and try to allow the client to calm themselves and then work towards an amicable solution. Less

I cross trained my team on all responsibilities of the department ensuring that every team member had a working knowledge of each aspect of our team and created supporting documentation. My team used to struggle when someone went on vacation or was out on maternity leave but now it makes PTO and extended periods of leave much less stressful for everyone on the team and there is no interruption of service to our customers.
