Describe a situation in which you had to let down a customer

I told her about a time where our company was not able to locate a specific item in-store until after we had ordered it for the customer and he had left. This was not strictly speaking my fault and therefore did not make me look bad but was a legitimate case of letting a customer down. All the other questions where poof-ball softies.

Not really any particular question but in general being able to have a positive outlook.
