How would you handle an angry doctor or receptionist yelling at you over the phone?
I would try to ignore it and stay rational and if can not speak on a level basis then would say sorry sir / mam thank you for your time and sorry to bother you., then hang up.
Simply explain that if the person continues to verbally abuse you on the phone, it will be necessary to end the call.
