Thank you for sharing your experience. Are you a graduate of the gia?
↳
have you heard back from GIA?
↳
Can you tell me more about the interview questions? Thanks in advance

Hi I heard there were three rounds Can you tell me what the last round would be like? Since this position did not require grader certificate, could they ask you to grade a stone? Less

Yes, at my former employer I was taught the major two types of processes HPHT and CVD methods used to create them. I have graded them and there are gtreat differences between the two helping to properly identify a diamond as a synthetic man made diamond. Special equipment also may be necessary to further help the identification process such as RAMEN spectroscopy, and exposing the diamond to different types of light sources such as UV for fluorescence and possible phosphorescence. I answered very peaceful and what happen my previous job and why I resigned .

ability to manage, lead and negotiate... second question seemed tricky as it was asked like it leaned towards negative response to be said - answered sales, and follow up with offering a possibility of a matching stone for an additional potential sale. Less

I want to work at a company where there are opportunities for growth and that would utilize my skills. I want to give my time and energy to a company that mimics my values such as integrity and strives to be the leader in their field. GIA offers me that opportunity. Less
