Q: What does a capacitor look like at high frequency?4 AnswersA: A capacitor looks like a capacitor, inductor, and resistor in series at high frequency. An openA shortShow More ResponsesIts an short circuit at very high frequencies. Look at the impedance for a capacitor and you'll notice that the frequency is inversely related to it. (also note that capacitor impedance is purely reactive). Therefore, as frequency increases the impedance approaches 0, which acts like a short. (an inductor is the opposite)

### Electrical Design Engineer at Karpinski Engineering was asked...

Do you know anything about electrical design?2 AnswersI was kind of stumped because he was asking it in a belittling question.I am sorry you had an unpleasant experience. Since this was through a recruiter, please understand that behavior is not a reflection of Karpinski Engineering or our culture. We sincerely apologize.

Npn bias: base connected to mid point of 3k-7k divider with terminals at 0V and 10V. Emitter has 2kohm to gnd. Collector has 2kohm to 10V. What is the voltage at base, emitter, collector1 Answerbase is at 3V. Therefore emitter voltage is 2.4V, and emitter current is 1.2mA = Ic. collector voltage = 10V - 2.4V= 7.6V

opamp with resistors forming an inverting amplifier, gain -2. Non inv input at gnd = 0V There is additional resistor (R3) from inverting input to gnd. what is the voltage gain1 AnswerGain is still -2. The inverting input is still at gnd, so no current flows through R3. It has no effect on the gain from input to output. Summing amp configuration, but the second input at 0v
