"When hiring sales associates, employers are looking for charismatic candidates who can provide helpful advice to customers and close sales. Be prepared to answer a few scenario questions that will assess your ability to handle difficult customers, sell a product, or excel on a team. Previous sales experience is an advantage, but not necessary."
I don't feel the interview was at all difficult, nor the questions unexpected or hard to answer. For someone new to interviewing or the job market, I could see it being somewhat of a challenge.
You showing up for the interview and nodding will get you a job there. The interview process is filled with false hope and broken promises. Each store has their own culture, but their all the same....Lazy employees take FULL ADVANTAGE of the job and the company's lack of caring not only for the employees but especially the CUSTOMER. Even before you apply to this zero profit company, walk around like your a customer and notice you will probably be only approached by one associate who's on their way back to the rest room to talk on their cell phone..... It's mind blowing why BB&B hasn't closed up the locations that are literally HANDING OUT food/merchandise to customers and turning them into vacant spaces. The TEMECULA location where I worked at would be shut down by OSHA in a blink of an eye if they walk (try skipping) around that store and not slipping/falling/tripping on something.
