I was a staff accountant and then a senior accountant, in which I handled transaction of all kinds. I believe that I will relate very fast.

Don't you think you are vastly overqualified for this position?

Questions about background, work experience, 5 year goal, why Northern Trust, why financial reporting, etc. The last question was why should they pick you over another candidate

Knowledge about accounting in high level, specifically about accruals and capitalized expenses. Chatting about personal background with each other as well. I believe that's the part that actually got me hired the minute I walked out of the building. For back office/controllers entry level jobs it's hard to know the actual work performance. So Being personally likeable is what really matters.
