interview questions shared by candidates
(keep in mind, I'd recently been a key contributor to developing accounting methodologies to complete the largest banking merger in US history). Interviewer: "Explain in detail these methodologies you used, and why you decided to use them?"
Really bad question by the interviewer. The methodologies developed were extremely complex and took almost a year, a team of nearly 1000 key members providing input, and critical system decisions that in a short interview question, can only be answered at literally a "10,000 foot" level. There was absolutely no reason for the interviewer to probe into very company sensitive information especially involving two of the largest financial instituitions in this country.
