If a product shows up on a Negative Inventory Report, what would you do?

1 Answer

I said I would research the sales history of the product to see if that is what caused the negative availability. I would also look at the movement of the product such as PO receipts, variance adjustments and inbound or outbound transfers that may not have been processed. Once the root cause is found, that would determine the correction process which may entail a cycle count, receiving / adjusting a PO, process a return / exchange of a sale if it has been determined that the wrong product was rung up,

On what occasion did I ever have to resolve a concern for a customer, and what did I do to resolve said issue.

If you were at a party would you be more of the person standing in the corner or the person in the center of attention.
