When I visit the store they've been amazing at making connections, getting to know me, and engaging me. I said that they could improve on asking to help pick out an outfit or what I'm looking for. The DM was very happy with this answer because she agreed and felt that this store has had this issue for some time. Less

I typically use this question to my advantage by asking what they think the organization can improve upon and what they look for in an employee. She said she wanted someone who can handle drama working with so many women. I told her that I was very happy to hear this because communication is one of the most important values to me. Being an effective employee and leader requires being able to address others well and deal with conflict in an appropriate manner. I brought up how helpful having taken an interpersonal communications class and a conflict management class had been to me. Less

I would come to the customer with a basket and politely say "oh here is a basket to help shopping be easier for you" or state oh popcorn is always a great thing to get when watching a movie." Something nice and chatty to show the customer you see them putting the DVD but not accusing them of anything. Less
