Leadership fellow interview questions shared by candidates
Tell me about a time when you had to work with someone who was difficult to get along with. What made the situation so difficult, and how did you deal with it?
This question is trying to get at your inter-personal skills and ability to manage group dynamics. The interviewer is probably looking for 3 things in this type of question: (1) What was the situation?, (2) What action did you take?, and (3) What were the results? Focus on how you dealt with it and try to emphasize teamwork and flexibility--don't gripe about the situation.
