(n.b. internet policy including filtering is posted on the library website.) 2) Tell us about a difficult work situation and how you handled it. If a similar situation arose again, what would you do differently?

1) Internet access is NOT filtered except for illegal activity (e.g. child porn) in the library. 2) Find a situation where you were able to quickly adapt and remain effective.

Library job interview questions always seem to include: "If you were working the reference desk and had a customer on the phone, three in line, and a child has a homework question, who do you help first?" or something similar.

Tell us about a time when you had to explain a library policy to an unhappy patron. Tell us about a time you had to deal with a difficult/unruly patron. How will you reach out to your target audience to increase program attendance? Is there anything you would like to add to help us further to evaluate you as a candidate?
