Questions all took the STAR format, at least from the hiring manager (Situation, Task, Action, Results), standard type of questions, but the managers demeanor made this more intense than it needed to be.

How would you handle high volume traffic and failures

Matrix search algorithm since that didn't seem relevant to job. It is a well defined problem that could be looked up in algorithm book. Must confess I don't know every documented algorithm.
