All individuals interested in applying, appeared, completed application, submitted to drug test, provided proof of auto insurance and registration. Everyone who remained listened to a presenter and watched a training video. If you were still interested, all were asked who was ready to work the next day. That same afternoon, a field supervisor contacted me and advised where to report. This was a very informal and relaxed interview process. The first I had ever experienced. The staff was very pleasant but professional and kept things moving at an optimal pace. Good experience even though it was different. Probably took 3-4 hours total.
I was able to incorporate "conflict resolution" to this situation The outcome to this conflict was positive in the direction where the two of us were able to move forward in a very positive direction of a working relationship.
I explained to them that I am use to working long hours, I have good time management skills, and that I had family support to help me get through stressful times. I also stated that I get my second wind when I am challenged.
