new graduate rn interview questions shared by candidates
The questions were typical personality-based inquiries, as new graduates have little to no experience. I was asked about my experiences in nursing school, as well. In both interviews I discussed my self-perceived strengths and weaknesses, too. To be honest the HR interview lasted much longer and felt formal as compared to my nurse manager's casual interview style. I was able to meet staff on the unit that I was hired to after interviewing with the manager.
"Why I chose to become a nurse?" "Tell me about a time where you had a difficult patient and what did you learn from it?" "What qualities are you looking for with a manager?"
