Sales Associate Interview Nashua, NH

nothing was unexpected 1) why macy's? A) Macy's is a highly

reputed and ever growing company. there is no doubt that you have a wide collection of well known merchandise in different dpt and the most important reason is becoz people have relationship with macy's long before they are even their customers. They might have gone there as a child to get their picture taken with Santa, marveled at Macy’s Fourth of the July fireworks, or enjoyed the parade well before they were old enough to even think about shopping and that makes me want to be a part of “magic of Macy’s. 2) How would you help the customer celebrate their purchase (flatter them) 3) How would you sell our card A) sometimes people are in a hurry after shopping, so I would be sure to tell them that it's a very quick process. They would get all of the discounts without having to present a coupon and also there is no need for a receipt when you return an item, no matter how long ago you purchased the item and you can always check ur credit balance online. 4) What would you do if you saw a coworker doing something wrong In a grey area like if he is slacking i would talk to them or have someone talk to him so that he feels better but if repeated for long period i would report itand when they r doing something very wrong like sealing, would complain to his superviser. 5) If a customer was buying pants, how would you try to encourage them to buy another pair or a complimentary item A) subtly point out to the few of many things that would go with the pants. 6) Explain to me an example of when you were on a team, what was your role, and what was the outcome? as iam fresher, i told him a story from the college days 7) If someone came in needing a pair of jeans, what kind of questions would you ask them? I would ask them what kind of brand they were looking for, what style, what length (pants, capris, shorts). 8)Describe a time where you had to work as a team to make a sale. again told him a story from college days
