I was honest and told her I am not a big fan of overtime, but understand that projects have deadlines. I also said that when this becomes the norm, then mgmt needs to step up and realize that it isn't very productive for their employees ot be overworked.
I wasn't really sure how to answer this question because they never really narrowed down exactly which position I was being considered for, so I didn't really know what to say. I ended up talking about how I wanted to stay on the technical track instead of the managerial track.
I was a fresher at that time and so I had to say a "NO" which became the answer which changed the interview scenario. When asked for the rejection I was told that they found an experienced candidate for entry level position.
