Principal user experience designer interview questions shared by candidates
I was asked to answer (as "homework") a series of questions about improving the company's web search functionality.
I spent a few hours reviewing their website and wrote up my analysis. It was a lot of work, but I would much rather demonstrate my actual skills as they relate to a position than be judged on my answers to tricky and possibly irrelevant questions.
Cant really say that I had anything to difficult or unexpected from a personal perspective. I tend to be pretty open and transparent, avoid saying what I think they want to hear. That makes it easier for me to answer questions, and it allows one to show up more authentically.
