Our buyers always allowed the suppliers to determine inbound and outbound logistics policy even if they buyer delivered sub-standard products. Initially we met with the buyers to explain our best practices methodology and gave them the opportunity to explain it to the suppliers or if they preferred, we would explain the new policies. The answer to this question is pretty open-ended, but I think the interviewer wants to be certain that you think you have made good choices throughout your schooling and career. P&G claims to want to retain their employees, and probably does not want to offer a job to someone who suddenly decides the job they have applied for is their calling.
Have ideas, but answer honestly. You're here to learn about the company and its offerings in an internship. It'd probably be good to mention building solutions that are easily scalable, but after that it's where your goals are. There are opportunities all over IDS.
