To begin, investigate why it's hated. Gather data and events to perform a thorough analysis. Determine the real problem(s). Setup fish bone analysis with those hating the process. Get buy in and participation from the haters to assist in developing countermeasures to your problems. Share the implementation processes with the cross functional "Hate" team. Once implemented, calculate and determine your results to share with the team. Sell the idea that they are a part of improving the company. Sell to the company the idea of rewarding the "Hate team" for their efforts and results.
