I made a reference to a particular person who would never give clear and concise answers to any of the rather challenging technical questions I would ask but would instead tell me to look-up information on the internet. I was informed by recruiter later on that it was this answer that they did not like as they felt that I lacked serious troubleshooting skills, which sounded very awkward to me as the question was not meant to evaluate my troubleshooting skills. It was very general and vague question and my answer was also lacked specifics in regards to how difficult was the information I needed and how easily could it be accessed on the internet (not that easily).
How and who informed you that you didnt get a job?
I find this very difficult to answer because I like new challenges and don't want to have the same tasks five years later. I understand employers want to feel if you are a keeper and possibly groom you for future advancement in the company, however interests change as well as the dynamics and culture of an organization
