because in receptionist position you must multitask to receive incoming call and guest. being calm and proffesional in front guest. always check and attention to detail is important too & handle distraction well. i think i have the main reason for this role. Greeting guests and connecting them with the right staff Managing visitor traffic Answering and directing phone calls Maintaining visitor security procedures (guest logs, visitor badges, etc.) Accepting and routing deliveries and/or daily mail When creating a receptionist job description, the first step is to make sure all these basics are covered. Usually, the receptionist will end up doing much more than those basic duties. Many are also responsible for administrative tasks, special projects, and support for individual executives, and i have experience with administrative task and i can handle it. i care about the people i work with. i think i have aduqate education and work experience. in addition i am always enthuastic about what i do. this will be contribute positifly to growt of your company. Blank stare. Answered and thinking to myself, I've been doing this for almost 15+ years. Did not get a good vibe fron the interviewers. Very unprofessional atmosphere. How do interview with old t-shirt, jeans and plastic brackets. Not a good look for "the Hawks" organization. Walked out unimpressed and disappointed that such a huge organization would employ such mess. Represent the position and the organization. Would recommend they revamp their front office staff. Less
