Hello my name is Dawn PAIGE and I am a Registered Nurse. I have over twenty five years of experience as a nurse. I currently work as a Director of Patient Services and Case Manager for a community based Assisted Living Program. Question: Research Nursing offers clinicians an opportunity to advance their critical thinking and clinical competencies in a meaningful way that supports patients, families, and populations as medical advancements progress. I see myself being a part of the changes which are about to occur. In 1994 I worked in a specialized setting for Immunosuppressed patients. I had an opportunity to see where this research started and acknowledge how it has changed the lives of patients and families today. We have made positive strives in health care and improved the quality of life for those whom we serve. Education: BSN, Masters in Health Administration, Masters in Health Care Delivery Leadership, And currently Pursuing my DNP at Cappella University. Experience: Data Manager in the Department of Neoplastic Diseases at Mount Sinai Hospital. Staff Nurse Medical Surgical Nursing Substance Abuse Nurse Home Care Nurse community, Infusion Therapy, Asthma education, wound care, and Nurse Assessments for certification of Home Health Aides at Partners in Care. What would you do if you had a conflict with a coworker?

My response was, I tend not to take things personally so if a conflict arises I like to address it directly before it becomes a "big deal". Usually it is related to miscommunication and is easily resolved. For the most part, people want to get along and care about each other so I try to keep that the focus. Less
