From retail to finance to medicine, every industry needs interns to provide additional support and assistance. Interview questions will vary greatly depending on the industry and role you are looking for. Expect to answer questions about how you work on teams and provide examples of any relevant work experience. To ace your interview, make sure to research the particular position you are applying for.
Given a word (does not have to be an actual word, just a string of capital letters), return the alphabetical rank of that word out of all possible combinations of the given set of letters.
No distinction between switching the same letters ("ABA" == "ABA" if the A's are switched). Cannot use naive implementation of generating all possible combinations, sorting, then finding the given input.
Was given the same question as a at home coding test before given the offer for a on site interview. I posted the solution on my blog, which they accepted. http://geck1.blogspot.com/2014/05/the-alphabetical-ranking-of-word.html
