"When hiring a brand manager, a companies seek out candidates who have the marketing skills and creativity to improve public perception of a brand and increase sales and customer loyalty. The interviewer may ask situational questions where you have to explain marketing trends, think up solutions to a failing brand campaign, or devise new marketing strategies for a brand."
Why P&G and why this jojb?
I think this question arose mainly because my double degree in accountancy and business and a second major in finance doesn't exactly look like that of a typical candidate for the role of assistant brand manager. Fortunately for me, my interviewer was also a finance major and she understood my desire to go into a non-finance line after discovering that I probably wasn't suited for finance/bank related jobs.
