With 12 years experience in the role (s) and strong background creating innovative and engaging training programs, both synchronous and asynchronous, I've honed my skill-sets in Captivate, Camtasia, Articulate (Storyline & Presenter), VideoScribe, GoAnimate, FrameMaker, Word, and PPT. I'm a very open-minded person and have always been. I have nine siblings which have taught me that you have to be open-minded because of the various personalities that enter into the dynamics. Also, I worked with many different types of people over my career, and open-mindedness is key. I'm not sure why you are concerned about this because I am not privy to your company's dynamics or politics, but I will say that I believe in speaking with all relevant key stakeholders before moving ahead with a front-end analysis of training needs. The person who asked the question responded with, "I still think because you come from West Virginia you won't be open-minded." The interview was brought to a close, and I received word after several emails that someone else had been offered the job even though I had been told by one of the interviewer's that I was one of strongest of the interviewees. Suddenly, the question about my ability to be open-minded made me feel stereotyped and gave me a sinking feeling about the job possibility, which turned out to be right. I emailed the HR department, specifically the head of it, and she never bothered responding to my concerns about being asked an inappropriate question based on where I originated.

I don't feel good being an autocratic leader, since this causes a lot of personnel change. Most employees do not like it
