Here's the kicker. Went through the whole interview process and recieved the offer. When I commented that it was the same as I was making presently, more negotiation insued and I thought everything was ironed out. We even agreed that neither side would make any decisions until the negotiations were completed. All seemed to be going well, they even did the background check. They called to check references, one of which was at my current employer. That little move caused me tremendous heat @ my current job. In the end, for no given reason, the offer was taken back. I know my references were good. Just out of the blue, "we've decided not to pursue things further". In the meantime, I'm screwed @ my current job now, and might just lose it. When pressed for a reason, they wouldn't even reply. If you have anything on the ball technically, don't waste your time. They cannot be trusted. My hunch is they found someone cheaper. They don't care about the damage they've done to me in my present position and seem to have no sense of right & wrong. Less
