The first thing you do after greeting the customer and draping them in your chair, is. A consultation. A consultation will include asking a variety of questions while also examining their hair type, length, and condition its in. You also want to ask them questions along the way and always start with a longer cut then you think they want because you can always go shorter.
Making me feel welcomed as I arrive and comfortable with my surroundings during the time I'm there. And leaving with exactly what I asked for and needed. I would definitely feel the desire to come back again if I was satisfied.
I may be soon interviewing for a Salon Mngmt job. Could you please elaborate on which types of questions you were asked, such as topic (hairstyling or mngmt)? Re: negotiating & asking for what you want, again, could you please elaborate? Did they increase salary or give extra days off or let you choose schedule, etc? Thanks very much.
difficult to say, but I feel that I can make a difference in the way that stylists communicate positively on the work floor and to each other, and see myself with hair Cutery in an upper management position, if I am successful here.
