    Technical Support Interview

Anonymous Interview Candidate in Los Angeles, CA
    No Offer
    Negative Experience
    Difficult Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2+ weeks. I interviewed at teleNetwork (Los Angeles, CA) in December 2017.

    Interview

Sent in Resume and then spoke to a guy on the phone for a bit a couple of times. Was going really well and he said I was a "shoe-in." Set a date/time for a video interview and... had one of the creepiest/unprofessional experiences in my life. The guy was 10mins late (I was busy on my other computer when he suddenly showed up) and then he said nothing and just stared. He had a very sour look and I knew such this position wasn't gonna happen. Might as well enjoy some fun irony: "I'm glad we connected, sorry I was late." Nothing. No intro, no apology. I turned away to write an email to telenetwork about all this when he loudly cleared his throat and impatiently went through the process. I asked a few standard questions as he seemed to get more unsettled so I let it go and he quickly cut the feed. Vid interview was less then 15mins. I was washed and well dressed, so not sure what he guy was about. Fair warning.

    Technical Support Interview

    Anonymous Employee in Jacksonville, FL
    Accepted Offer
    Negative Experience
    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied online. I interviewed at teleNetwork (Jacksonville, FL) in August 2015.

    Interview

Was really no interview process, they sent me a questionnaire to fill out that made sure I knew basic IT terms, and what some of the basic hardware used was, and what it did. Beyond that they only wanted to know if I had a machine that met their exact specs, they seemed to be really excited that someone had actually answered their ad.

    Interview Questions

    • Do you have a pulse? Do you know what a modem is? What are the specs of your computer? What is your connection speed? Required to present a screenshot of computer specs, internet speed, and before you actually start training, they require you to allow someone to remote into your computer to verify you weren't lying to them.   1 Answer

    Product Support Specialist Interview

    Anonymous Employee in Austin, TX
    Accepted Offer
    Negative Experience
    Average Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at teleNetwork (Austin, TX) in January 2015.

    Interview

I applied online and was contacted by email t oset up a phone screening. This led eventually to two video interviews, and one in person. RIdiculously drawn out for the position. It absolutely could and should have been done in one. Very obviously amateur and poorly paid recruiters who didn't know what they were doing and were basically just people desperate to get out their call-center rat race... not recruitment or human resource professionals.

    Interview Questions

    • Can't remember specifically but typical, judging personability and fit with this particular prestigious huge tech company client even more than tech based expertise.   Answer Question

First you must submit an online application. It consists of about 50 questions about internet and all things surrounding it. Then you will get a phone call if you make above a 70 on the online test. The phone call will consist of setting up your in person interview and a few pop questions they throw at you at the end. These are a little more detailed so you might want to brush up on internet knowledge before answering. Next you go in for an in person interview and you immediately take a timed typing test. If you pass that you will meet for an interview. This was very basic. Tell me about yourself, describe what being successful is, etc.
