Interview
I wasn't get to the interview because I failed on the first technical test. The technical test is very tricky and require attention to detail. I have to spend all 9 hours and a cup of coffee, but still can't get it done on time. The recruiter answered me in a nice email, that although I am disappointed but I have a positive impression about this company

I applied online. The process took a week. I interviewed at think-cell (Berlin (Germany)) in August 2018.
Interview
I applied online and first step was a programming 9 hour test. I can't describe the task because I promised not to, but it related to std::map. It is not hard, but requires a lot of testing and attention to details. I passed this step and the next step was the coding with screen shared. The task was really simple but this simplicity confused me and I made a mistakes and finally failed. So if you passed first step I encourage you to check your solution on the second step as many times as possible and asking as much questions as possible before the coding.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at think-cell (Berlin (Germany)) in September 2018.
Interview
There were three online interviews. The first one was online challenge 9 hour long followed by 2 more interviews with CTO and CEO. After each interview you are immediately told whether you pass it or not and I think it is a big plus.
After passing online interviews I got an invitation onsite. Travel and accommodation was covered by the company.
The office in Berlin is pretty with very good working environment and friendly people. Unfortunately I failed to solve onsite interview problem efficiently and did not get an offer.
Overall it was a very good experience for me and I enjoyed with whole process.

Interview
test interview on their website stating a live mission to be completed in 3 hours. I enjoyed the task and felt it was challenging and brain teasing. However, I could appreciate a hint of why I could not make it in the rejection mail.

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at think-cell (Berlin (Germany)) in October 2017.
Interview
I received the home assignment similar to what the previous reviewers talked about, involving the STL map.
When I read it I saw that they used a few words that could mean multiple things, and it wasn't very clear by what rules they wanted this to be done, and how it is to be tested. More specifically the language they used wasn't clear and precise enough. I know that understanding an assignment is part of an evaluation as well, but in this case I am not being too literal, and I am absolutely right that their language wasn't clear enough. I sent an e-mail during the assignment for clarification but got no reply. I submitted my solution with a note saying that if the test fails in a specific way, that so and so should be modified in my solution (kind of like a switch I left in).
I got a formulaic reply telling me that I have failed because the test has failed. They obviously hadn't even read my e-mail nor looked at my solution comments.
I've had a very qualified friend look at the code, out of curiousity, and he agrees that I was correct that they did not specify the terminology in the assignment accurately enough.
All in all, if they won't even read/reply to e-mails, and have such imprecise terminology used as "acceptable", it doesn't seem like I would be interested in working there. I might be wrong but this is my impression.

Interview
It started with 9-hours coding test. I cannot mention the detail about the test. The test was quite simple, but needed little bit of thinking. After the test, I got a response and comment about test from the tech director. no further interview after that. no offer

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at think-cell in March 2019.
Interview
I participated in the online test but failed. Nevertheless, I think that this is a very good online test. As it is not as easy solvable as it is at competitors, but contains a small real world problem. Besides the complexity of the problem, it required really really excellent knowledge of C++ in terms of language, STL and type system. It is not enough to just have programmed C++ in the past and not having it as its primary language. So this company is not joking about its high demands towards the applicant. This states clear expectations and avoids unpleasant situations in the later work.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at think-cell in February 2019.
Interview
I was contacted through Stack Overflow. I sent a resumé, which they liked, so I was sent a link to an online programming test in C++. You can take the test whenever you have some time available. I did so on a Sunday. I had to implement a method for a data structure in C++. It's the kind of problem that takes more thinking than coding, and it must be tested thoroughly. It's also important that your solution is efficient and adheres strictly to the requirements; all of this is checked when you submit your solution, so you get immediate feedback about whether you go on to the following round or not.
The next round is a phone interview with the CTO of the company. This is also a technical interview in which you have to code a solution. I was called via Skype and shared my screen. You are not allowed to use a compiler or do any web searches. Unlike other phone interviews I've had, I was given a problem and then left alone to code, which was unexpected for me but which I prefer to coding and speaking at the same time. Because I wasn't interacting all the time with my interviewer, it also meant there wasn't a clear cut time limit. I coded and tweaked until I had to go do something else.
After turning in my code, I was given feedback the following day, telling me that I wouldn't go on to the next stage. I had realized in the meanwhile that my code had some mistakes so that was to be expected.
Overall it was a very good interview experience. The HR team is very friendly and efficient, and you get feedback quickly. The information on their website about the application process is pretty clear too.

The interview process was terrible. I have only got one e-mail from their hirebot. I was not worth for them to read my resume. Interview questions are questions of agency, which were doing first scan of skills.
