Statistical Data Analytics Web Analyst Interview

Anonymous Interview Candidate in London, England (UK)
    No Offer
    Negative Experience

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at uSwitch (London, England (UK)) in August 2016.

    Interview

I applied online, and was called a few days later by someone from the recruitment team (with no warning - in my experience with other companies all phone interviews are arranged via email) for an informal phone interview. Following this, a 30 min formal phone interview was arranged. I was not told who the phone interview would be with and was not even given a contact phone number in case of any issues.

I waited for the phone interview but no one called. Half an hour after the allotted time, while I was in the middle of writing a frustrated email to the generic recruitment team email address, I received an email from a member of the recruitment team stating that the interview would have to be rearranged and that he would call me later. He never called. That was the last I heard from them.

    Difficult Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took a week. I interviewed at uSwitch.

    Interview

Interviewed by two senior managers. A range of competency questions were asked which were specific to the role. If I could not answer them I was given the option of a generic competency based question if required. A professional yet not too formal interview with the opportunity to ask a lot of questions and discuss the job role in further detail.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at uSwitch (London, England (UK)) in August 2015.

    Interview

Phone interview with the current and previous position holders. Asking all the usual questions. Followed with an invitation for interview at the office. Got a tour round the place, seemed nice and relaxed atmosphere. 30 minute excel based technical challenge followed by ~45 minute interview with same 2 people I spoke to on the phone. Quite a friendly interviewing style, given time and encouragement to come to a good answer. Overall a good experience

    Difficult Interview

    Application

I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at uSwitch (London, England (UK)) in March 2015.

    Interview

Informal, 3 different people, all really welcoming. Some pretty challenging, insightful questions but I was given every opportunity to shine. Was in there about 90 minutes, first with HR then the Commercial Director, then CEO. Personally it was great to meet the senior team as it gave me a flavour of what they would be like to work for.
