I am a perpetual student. As I get older, I realize that there is potential to learn from anyone anywhere, you just have to be proactive in your search. I am a resource. I like to share what I've learned with others. I like to have meaningful conversations, I'm not big on banter. I'm dedicated. I am mindful. I will find purpose in the smallest task. I am curious. I like to go down the rabbit hole when I learn something. I connect the dots. I try to find a connection between everything I've experienced. I am an active listener. I know that conversations are two-way, not only for one person to carry. I listen and drill down into the conversation for more substance. People like to talk about themselves, asking for more details, means they are being heard. Less

Nurse sending something stat, patient checking out, phone ringing, new patient coming in and angry doctor. I would think the stat is most important. The phone should be answered because it maybe about the new patient coming in. The new patient is generally being tended to by nursing staff. The angry doctor has to wait. The patientchecking out will be in a hurry. Less
