That's ridiculous. Knoll has quickly earned itself a reputation as being a "Contractor Meat Grinder". Management lacks the ability to build a cohesive team. I was witness to the infighting between engineering and management. How many contractors has Knoll (East Greenville) gone through in the past few years? You were unfortunately window dressing for our new Global CIO to demonstrate going through a rigorous process. He hired his buddy that worked with him before at Aramark. Sounds like you have a better opportunity.. Don't take it out on the Knoll brand. The people at the company who have experience with the Knoll culture would never treat anyone like that. On the oversight end of things and in looking at the other business implications, my role at XYZ Corp was tasked with writing up issues / sharing solutions, training new staff on equipment, working with other departments to understand their needs, and provide project management of new productions or equipment being rolled out. My role was great as an opportunity to get to know and understand the business needs and then turn them into technology solutions for the company to utilize.
