I have been working at ALDI full-time (More than 3 years)
Great place to work, Great Pay, work/life balance is improving, 401k is great. Insurance is excellent. Great store managers make stores run smoothly. Having a team that bonds well keeps schedules fair and work balanced.
Needs to improve on minimal opportunities for career advancement. Not enough input on store level when hiring for the team. Unrealistic productivity guidelines for lower volume stores vs higher volume stores.
Advice to Management
It seems like if you're placed in a higher volume store you get better opportunities and stores with lower volumes get nothing. No career advancement opportunities to well qualified employees. I want to feel like I'm growing in the company as fast as the company is growing. Career advancement opportunities should be given in house "First" to those employees who show everyday that we care about the everyday operations. My advice is keep employees that show long term growth engaged and growing within the company. It's hard to call your position a "career" if you're at a stand still for many years.
