Employees are overworked and underpaid compared to the competition (Verizon). Management makes decisions for promotions based on personal relationships and employees being sick of / failing at their current positions instead of hiring based on aptitude and attitude. In this fast paced industry we are expected to hit unrealistic numbers and quality metrics. When we do hit them the quotas are promptly raised and not in line what so ever with any budgets or plans that were created by senior management. If you overachieve you will be punished for it by far under achieving in the coming months. Even if you land a large business deal that is a one time shot, they will expect you to do it again and again even thought the market has been slated to do a large amount of upgrades and DECLINE in gross adds.
Advice to Management
If it isn't broken, don't fix it!!!
