I have been working at Air New Zealand full-time (More than a year)
The company still has a good reputation for excellent in-flight experience.
There are only a few people who really 'run' things. Office moving to a more open plan - should illuminate dysfunctional behavior that mgmt has overlooked to date. No room for advancement with senior (25+ years) team in place.Favoritism thriving but not helpful to critical business goals. Good people have left and more plan to leave in 2015.
Advice to Management
Stay in town, invite anonymous feedback in an anonymous forum. Keep an open mind to it. Switch Mgmt up - send the Online Mgr to Sales Support Mgr; send Sales Support Mgr to Rev Mgmt; Send Rev Mgmt to Corp Sales; Send Leisure to Groups; Groups to Corp; Corp to Leisure. They could be reinvigorated and learn to work with a team again. Start thinking long-term or lose the plot.
