I have been working at Alaska Airlines as a contractor (More than a year)

    - Alaska cares about its customers and community and values its products (revenue), more so than any other airline. - Customer-facing employees really exemplify what Alaska stands for; truly inspiring - Changes are being made to match competitors, slowly but surely.

    - Below market pay for IT, development, and designers -- full time and contractors - Stick in the mud management and senior roles that don't anticipate or understand industry trends or the speed at which they develop - Stagnate work environment in run-down buildings - Longstanding employees don't posses adequate skills for their job roles when compared to the industry standard - When an employee or contractor leaves on a team, it sometimes takes months for the role to be filled, thus making a current employee take up work that wasn't a part of their job description

    Advice to Management

    - Hire fresh talent and compensate them accordingly - Demolish the McGee building
