I worked at Alief ISD (More than a year)
Strong tutoring program using an effective well constructed (AVID) approach. Tutors were given opportunity to work with teachibng staff in addition to students.
Part-time contract. Full-time employment would have allowed better collaboration and effectiveness in the tutoring program. Also to be given the opportunity to focus full time on tutoring program and growing in skills and ideas.
Advice to Management
Create full-time tutoring program and enlarge opportunities to interact not only with students but teaching staff and administrators.
