Nice people, good culture of not stabbing co-workers in the back to get ahead. Not much office politics here.
Small town attitude towards talent. Don't reward with commission or bonus for sales work. Use bonus as a selling point to prospective hires but do not even have a policy for how a bonus is given. Poor benefits. Only one week vacation in 1st 2 years. Expensive HSA health plan they do not contribute much towards. Often expect employees to use personal cell for company use.
Advice to Management
Come up with a way to reward sales with some type of commission or bonus structure. If bringing in and managing new or extra business is important to you it should be rewarded.
