I have been working at Baker Hughes full-time (More than a year)
- Immediate hands on experience offshore - Responsibility increases rapidly - Career progression within the company is good, if you are on the LEAD program - Staff are relaxed friendly and down to earth - Quite a lot of career flexibility within the product line you are assigned to - Work life balance is generally good, especially for the salary
- Cross product line experience limited until you get beyond the grad scheme - Sometimes assistance from senior mangement in career progression is poor - must be proactive about your career - Grad scheme is not particularly well organised, especially the first few months. It is slow to get going. - Large age gap between staff due to few new hires joiing the company over the last 15 years this is rapidly changing with the new graduate scheme.
Advice to Management
