I worked at Best Buy part-time (More than a year)
enjoyed working with co-works, and free e-learnings, discounts, employee raffle and benefits
Although, it was an non-commission position; your constantly being told to attach services toward customer product, effectively becoming less about customer service. Overly goal oriented, and less focused upon employee satisfaction, and more on co-partisanship. I've enjoyed, this position because of fellow employees made it easier to cope. Yet, I would never return, or suggest others to pursue a career or employment with this company.
Advice to Management
Disorganized, ignorant and completely dismissive of employee suggestion(s). Upper-level management would persistently attempt to brainwash employees, and imply upon gaining more attachments then customer satisfaction. In addition, continued annoyance of micromanagement and peer-to-peer review yet, instill employee vs. employee competitiveness; along with contradicts in-store policy, when comparing toward corporate guidelines.
