Average pay, good medical benefits, good pension but only if you stay there until retirement.

Some departments are severely understaffed and overworked, while others have more time than work. This is a capitol city, and with that comes politics and the good ole' boy mentality.

    Advice to Management

Losing a bulk of your pension benefits if you quit before retirement only keeps people there for the wrong reason, and that stifles departmental growth.
