It has a small company feel and that generally tends to work well for individuals who want to wear multiple hats. There is a true open door policy at the company whereby anyone and everyone at any level may approach the Executives to discuss matters that are important to them.
In my opinion there is limited professional and career advancement opportunities at the company. There are many folks who have been with the company for 3+ years, but whose role, responsibilities etc. have remained the same. As the company grows the Executives need to start getting more comfortable with delegating responsibilities to their Directors; but as of now there is a general sense that almost every decision must still be made with Executive approval which is very frustrating for folks who in the past have been able to make decisions on their own.
Advice to Management
Let go of some of the 'less important' decision making responsibilities and delegate these to your more trusted employees. As the firm grows you've got to let others' take on a greater work load to support this growth.
