Don't take care of their employees that are hurt on the job, as far as Worker's Comp is concerned. Supervisors use the employees as scape goats when issues arise and someone needs to be held responsible. MSHA has given them negative ratings with almost every inspection.
Advice to Management
Settle claims with employees that have been injured on the job in a timely manner. 10 years is not a timely manner. Neither is 5 years. Make sure all equipment is inspected on a regular basis. Not just inspected, but repair all faulty equipment. Take responsibility for yourselves. It's not always the employees fault and shouldn't be put on them when it is not. Hiding what caused the accident is wrong and should not be done. Be an honest company that respects its employees and the company that has been built over all the years it has been in business.
