I have been working at CVS Health full-time (Less than a year)
They are very patient with new employees and work with them to improve in areas of quality and efficiency of their work. The benefits from what I can tell are pretty decent. They are also flexible with the schedule if you need time during the week to take care of things outside of work.
The pay is not good at all for pharmacy techs, they start at $14 an hour for mail order, retail is even less at $9-$10 an hour, which is ridiculous considering the knowledge that is required and the tremendous responsibility of patient safety that is placed on our shoulders and the goals that are set for us.
Advice to Management
I would suggest maybe giving an appropriate raise after the first 90 days, once the employees are broken in and trained. $16-$18 an hour for techs would be more appropriate considering the workload and responsibilities they have placed on them as well as being in one of the most expensive places to live in the country.
