    I have been working at Caddell Construction full-time (More than 8 years)


    Being in HR is interesting because an HR role provides you with a look behind the curtain that most employees don't have. This is a mixed bag because sometimes you see just as much bad as good, as has been my experience with other companies prior to Caddell. With a clear conscience and full conviction, I can say that Caddell is the best company that I've ever worked for. Is it perfect? Of course not, but it truly is a great place to work. The values of the company are more than just words on paper, and I've seen decisions made behind closed doors, that very few people are privy to, that are consistently in line with the strong values and ethics of the company. Caddell has good leaders who are down to earth and approachable, and genuinely care about employees. Caddell has strong market expertise and a stable track record. Compensation is fair and bonuses and profit sharing is generous. Opportunity for company ownership is available to employees who consistently go above and beyond and make significant contributions to the company's success.


    One of the cons in the past has been leaderships unwillingness to change, and a reactive leadership style. Although, this mindset has shifted significantly over the past 2 years, and leadership now supporting change and are becoming more proactive. Communication and willingness to share more information still needs to improve in some areas, but again, I have seen a lot of movement in the right direction in recent years.

    Advice to Management

    Continue to support the cultural change in regards to continuous improvement and increased communication. Continue to hold leaders accountable for success.
