The pay is decent Benefits are good In certain divisions, with the right manager, you get the opportunity to make a real difference as this young company continues to evolve.

Company is Engineering-driven, that is timeline oriented rather than solution oriented. The customer needs are outweighed by an existing product roadmap, created in a vacuum by a bunch of Engineers, that is far removed from customer requirements, resulting in fire drills at every customer when they realize how far short the product falls from their expectations, yet nothing changes; no course correction, no introspection, instead they reward these folks who have created sub-par applications and perpetuate the cycle. If every customer is unhappy and most released products are so far from target and take the entire village to deploy, it is probably time to evaluate if there is something fundamentally wrong with status quo.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your customers as well as delivery teams and aggressively take action to address common themes and not just pay lip service to their issues. If Engineering makes all the decisions and forges on without taking Customer feedback and adapting accordingly since "the train has already left the station for the next 3 releases", everyone ultimately loses since you have to prop up the on-time released ,yet subpar products with Herculean efforts from all divisions, which isn't scalable. Reward Engineering leaders for releasing valuable products of high quality as evidenced by happy customers rather than for just getting something out the door on time.
